In 2016, American Family Insurance, PGA TOUR Champions and PGA TOUR player and Wisconsin native, Steve Stricker, created the American Family Insurance Championship. Since its inception, the tournament has raised nearly $20 million for the American Family Children’s Hospital and more than 1,000 other charities, while generating an estimated $115 million in local economic impact.

The AmFam Champ brings together 76 of the top PGA TOUR Champions players. The star-studded field of U.S. and international golf legends includes major champions, Hall-of-Famers, and past champions. STEVE STRICKER: It's probably the most special week out of the year for us to be here to be able to be a part of this community event.

MICHAEL PHELPS: What you do for the community here is so special. And for me, to be a part of it was a treat.

ANDY NORTH: Raised a ton of money for the Children's Hospital. And that's what this is all about.

NIKKI STAFFORD: Simply put, we can't do what we do without each and every one of you.

STEVE STRICKER: We all know how important this is to the community. So it's pretty special.

Since 2016 more than 1,000 grants have been issued to support non-profit organizations totaling nearly $20 million of community impact.

$115 Million Economic Impact

At the end of 2024 tournament we have successfully over the years provided over $115 million in economic impact through waste reduction, charitable grants, and much more.

STEVE STRICKER: 15 years ago, we had this dream together, and look where we are today. You know, I think where it really hits home to me is just the impact that we're having here in the community and the monies that we're raising for the hospital and the charities. And, you know, Nicki, love you.
